A book entirely about an affair and revenge. A woman has an affair with the preacher, and must wear a scarlet letter because of her illegitimate child. In the end her husband kills the preacher (or his guilt does) and then the husband dies.
Content: Way too much lust and revenge to be considered a children’s book.
